School is over at the end of next week for me. I am excited. It was a good 4th year of teaching. I learned a lot. There were of course hard times, but also really great times. It doesn't get much better than an Algebra 1 student telling me she calculated some discriminants just for fun while she was watching desperate housewives. Or when students tell me they are excited for notes and that they love this class. The most rewarding though is when students who have been failing math for several years and never passed a math test all of the sudden get it and are really successful in my class. I love my job! It is one of the greatest jobs out there. :) (so I am a little biased)
I also just got my hair cut a couple days ago. I cut almost 4 inches. Ahhhh! I love it though. It looks so healthy and I feel ready for summer. I also got my highlights, which is the best because it makes me feel so much cuter. ;) Hehe, girls you know what I mean.
Anyway, Hooray for the summer! It is approaching fast.
